Bio

Amanda Pampena artist snapshot

Amanda Pampena graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Colorado Denver. Her animal companions act as models for her work as part of her ongoing series titled Animal Mine. She has also painted other subjects such as still life, human figures, wildlife, and more. A few of her artistic influences are Theophile Steinlen, Xu Beihong, Vincent van Gogh, Egon Schiele, and Mary Cassatt. She has shown in galleries such as SOMArts Cultural Center, Emmanuel Gallery, Core New Art Space, and West Nebraska Arts Center. She has been published as an art contributor in the Official Michael Jackson Opus. She has also worked as a professional dog groomer, graphic/web designer, and high school art teacher.
